M System is a totally new building system which is innovative and is the one and only in Indonesia. The M System was introduced in 2007. It is a radical change from the principle of conventional building which men have invented as early as the beginning of human civilization, and which have evolved through generations into what we now adopt to build our houses and buildings.

The technology behind the M System was invented in Italy. In its country of origin, this technique has gone through various stages of development for more than 25 years. It has been accepted as the preferred substitute for traditional building system and materials such as bricks, etc. By merit of the many advantages this technique has to offer, several European countries have adopted this product and system in its Building Code.

M System offers a wide range of functions both as product and equally as building system not found in conventional building materials. From the structural standpoint, building which uses M System is more resilient and resistant towards earthquake and yet possesses own-weight which is considerably less. When used as plain wall, M System serves as sound barrier and it is an excellent thermal insulator. Another advantage of the M System is that it is easy to handle and install, hence it is a very efficient product.

The word “System” is adopted as part of the product name because of several apparent reasons. M System is a revolutionary new product which also entice special design and special construction methods. To refer the M System as merely a product is also an understatement as it is applicable to a wide range of uses including, but not limited to, basic materials for residential houses, structural and non structural member of buildings, swimming pool, dome, interior of precast panels, grand stand seating and even architectural features which are usually very difficult to build especially if they are to be self supporting.

In the context of environment, M System uses material derived from crude oil and steel which do not result in the direct depletion of natural resources. Heavy dependency of traditional building on materials derived from the environment such as bricks, concrete, etc, on the contrary, render conventional system unecological as opposed to the M System. It is only fitting, therefore, that the M System should bear the label “Green Building Material”.
